Inc is conducting a clinical research trial for patients suffering
from active UP/UPS with mild to moderate symptoms. |

| The trial is a randomized,
multicenter study providing an investigational new treatment option
for active UP/UPS with mild to moderate symptoms: budesonide foam. |
| |
| Primary Objective |
| |
| To determine the safety and
effectiveness of budesonide foam as compared to placebo through
six weeks of study treatment. |
| |
| Primary Entry Criteria |
| |
• 18-75 years of age
• Active ulcerative proctitis or proctosigmoiditis
• No use of corticosteroids within 30 days of study entry
• No other active gastrointestinal disease |
